Rep. Gary Miller has placed a "Certificate of Military Service" on his campaign web site.
The document states that he served from September 7, 1967 to October 30, 1967. It states that "Service was terminated by Honorable Discharge."
The site also commented on his military service.
"A lot of fuss has been made about Gary’s military service by the guys running against him—and they’ve made up a lot of lies and fed them to the press. Here are the facts: Gary enlisted in 1967—when he was 18 years old. While in boot camp, Army doctors learned he had a childhood ulcer, which made him ineligible to serve so therefore he received an honorable discharge. ReplyDeleteHe also says that his opponents are behind this? Last I checked it was Harper's that broke the story. This guy needs to have the voters do him a favor and not re-elect him to office!
