Daily Bulletin looks at 61st Assembly Race

The Daily Bulletin has an article today about the 61st Assembly race between Assemblywoman Norma Torres and businessman Ray Moors.

Some excerpts, "Another core issue Moors said he has with Torres is that she is a politician who is "totally funded by state union employees," adding that she has helped "hijack" the middle-class standard. He would propose legislation that will cause state employees' pay to rise and fall with the economy, like the private sector. "

"Torres counters by saying that during her first two years, she authored or coauthored 29 legislative bills that protected the middle-class taxpayers. Her bills addressed the issues of keeping sex offenders away from schools, improving the state's 9-1-1 system, and increasing penalties for identity theft and computer hacking. "
