Congressman Gary Miller shows more than a Million in Bank

Rep. Gary Miller has filed his 1st quarter fundraising totals with the FEC. Miller shows $1,053,383 cash on hand. During the 1st quarter he raised just under $400,000 and spent a little over $200,000.

Rep. Miller is being challenged in the 42nd Republican primary by David Su, Phil Liberatore and Lee McGroarty.

With the three challengers vying for the anti-Miller vote, one of them will probably need to loan his campaign some major campaign money in order to compete with Miller, and beat the other two.

FEC filings are due by next Thursday. I will post the totals for the others as they are filed.

  1. If it comes down to who has the most money...no one has much of a chance of beating Miller. Miller was always going to dominate challengers in the money category. The real question is will the challengers be able to get people to open their eyes and see what a crook Miller really is. Miller should be kicked out already because of his repeated scandals and questionable voting record, but the establishment closes ranks around him and shields the voters from the truth. Hopefully the primary will bring us a new candidate that truly reflects the conservative values of the 42nd district.
