Linda Ackerman has issued the following statement on the outcome of the 72nd Assembly District Election:

"I am so grateful to the voters of the 72nd Assembly District for the opportunity to campaign for this Assembly seat. Although we were not successful tonight, I want to congratulate Supervisor Norby on his hard-fought and successful campaign. Throughout this process we had the honor of speaking with thousands of Californians who feel pessimistic about the direction their state is headed. I look forward to continuing my work as an ordinary citizen and activist in the Republican Party to elect conservative leaders who will move our state, our country and our party forward."
