Bob Huff, Senate Minority Leader?

Capitol Weekly is reporting that Diamond Bar Sen. Bob Huff is one of two Senators being considered for Minority Leader by his fellow Senators.

Huff was elected to the Senate in 2008 and is currently the Republican Caucus Chairman.

His competition is San Diego area Sen. Joel Anderson.

Current Leader Bob Dutton, who is term limited, will be running for the State Assembly. Dutton previously served one term in the Assembly, so he can serve two more.

Sen. Bob Huff named to Senate Republican Leadership team

Today Senate Republican Leader Bob Dutton named Senator Bob Huff the Republican Caucus Chair. This makes Huff an important part of the Republican leadership team.

This also gives the Inland Empire two Republican Senators who are part of the leadership since Dutton is from Rancho Cucamonga.
